Like everyone these days I get alot of my inspiration from Pinterest. Maybe a little to much inspiration sometimes:)  One of the blogs I happened to stumble upon was a blog called Oopsey Daisy.  She creates Mommy School packets for toddlers. You can check out her amazing blog here. She also gives you links to other great websites for kids.

I’m trying to plan all my lessons out way in advance and put them in file folders so it’s just a “go-to” type of thing. If I have to plan every week I know I won’t do it. I just try to do a small 15 minute or so activity in the morning and one in the afternoon. If we are busy that day and can’t do the activity then we simply don’t do it.  I also made a special calendar just for him. I write down what activities to do that month. Then it is all organized out and I know exactly what we are going to do that day.

So, I created B’s Learning Corner.  It is more for me to use as a reference for songs, rhymes, and words but he really interacts with it too.

Here he is with his hotwheels doing some one to one correspondence.

We painted using our hotwheels then we took the cars to the car wash.

We stuck shape foamies to the window using some water.

Those are just a few things we have done. I really hope to keep this going for now. Some days he likes it more than others but overall I think he has been enjoying it! .
