I made some old school comic book action signs for B’s superhero birthday party. These were my favorite decorations of the party! (and they were the easiest to make!)
I used them all over! I punched a small hole at the top and added ribbon. I then hung them to the ceiling. I also taped them up to the walls and windows. I went a little action sign crazy.
They make for great pictures. Especially when the person isn’t really paying attention. Sorry Poppa. 😉
I also made mini action signs for some garland. I taped the back to some ribbon and hung them around windows and doors. I also used the mini signs for labeling different food dishes. Just hot glue them on some toothpicks and your good to go!
The signs were so easy to make using the Silhouette. I included the cut files down below.
**Update Jab. 2014: Per your request, I am also including a PDF file for you to print out for my non-svg friends. You can simply download the PDF and cut away. I
Big Action Sign – Cut this file out on card stock. You can punch a hole at the top and add ribbon to hang up.
Big Action Sign PDF – Cut out by hand.
Words – I used the font BadaBoom from Blambot Comic Fonts. They have a huge collection of comic book fonts most of them free. I cut these words out on black cardstock and glued them to my big action sign.
Action Words PDF – Cut out by hand.
Mini Action Signs – I cut these out on cardstock as well. To make the garland I taped them on some white ribbon.
Mini POW Signs PDF – File to cut by hand
I also wanted to include the cupcake toppers I used for the party. You can print them out on cardstock and attach them to a lollipop stick.

I like the bright decor in any birthday party. Its fabulous, I just love it. Superhero Party Decorations sounds interesting.
none of your download links work. Is that box storage just a temporary drop bin?
Oh geez, nevermind I just realized that only someone with a silhouette can use/make these. How sad. Oh well.
Yes. Sorry it is only cut files that the Silhouette studio can read. I saw on your Instagram you made ended up making some and they turned out great even with out a machine. Hope it was a great bday!
Thank you so much for the cut files! Im going to a super hero themed scrapbook crop and these will be perfect for our table decorations! 🙂 Thanks again!
