I think making decorations is one of my favorite parts about throwing a party. This is my first time throwing a craft party and I thought it would be fun to have some craft sayings sprinkled through out. I did some research on Pinterest and found some very fun craft quotes.
I decided on three main colors for this party, mint, gold, and white. I then went to Oriental Trading to check out all the fun party supplies they offer. They have some very cute items in mint and I fell in love with these popcorn boxes.
I spruced them up a bit by adding gold ribbon and the printable. I just used tape to adhere the ribbon to the side of the box. I also layered my printable on top of a larger circle. I ended up cutting these circles on my Cameo.
If you would like to make your own crafty popcorn boxes you can download the printable here: Craft Party Decorations
Like this printable? Here is the fine print:
The design is for personal use only. I would love for you to follow me on Facebook, Pinterest or Instagram to keep up with the latest!
I also added this printable to a few skewers. All I did was add glitter paper to the backs and hot glued them to the skewer. I placed them in a mason jar with wooden spools. What better craft decoration than mason jars and wooden spools!? These wooden spools can also be found on Oriental Trading. I think they really add such fun detail to a craft party.
I also found these adorable wooden buttons from Oriental Trading. How cute are these?! Thank you to my friend Jessica from Cutesy Crafts for telling me about the wooden buttons and spools!! Not only will they be used as decorations but I will also craft with them later!
The last couple of items I picked up from Oriental Trading was this cute vintage suitcase. I actually have used it already as a photo prop in one of my other posts. I think it would be fun to have on the table to add an extra level. I also grabbed a few of these mint lanterns to put up around the party.
I didn’t want to go overboard on party decorations but I do like having a fun and interesting main table. The rest of the tables will be decorated with the actual crafting supplies.
There will be more craft party fun coming your way soon!

I LOVE the sayings you chose. Especially, “I’m so crafty, I sweat glitter.” Ha ha. I’ve been wanting to make a t-shirt out of that one for a while now. And how precious is that vintage suitcase? That’s going into my Oriental Trading Company shopping cart right now! LOVE LOVE LOVE your party color palette and how cute everything turned out. Can’t wait to see pics of the actual party itself!
Thanks Lauren!! I love that saying too! I will have all the pics on Wednesday!! I can’t wait to share. 😉
