Stripes have been my new design love lately!! From pillowcases to rugs, I have been drawn in by stripes. So when I was updating my gallery wall, I knew I wanted a pop of design for my inital. The best part of this simple wall art is that it only took a few simple steps.
I only used three things for this project. A can of the Krylon Metallic Copper spray paint, a wooden letter, and a roll of Frog Tape. The look of the copper spray paint is really pretty!
You will start by taping off your initial in rows. Make sure to press down around the edges of the tape to ensure you get clean lines. I was lucky enough to find this letter already white. If you have an unfinished wood piece I would paint it white first then let it dry overnight.
Follow the directions listed on the spray paint can and start to spray paint your letter.
Once the copper spray paint has dried, peel off your tape. It’s as easy as that. This project took me a total of 20 minutes with an hour of wait time for drying.
I love simple and quick projects!
