Hi Friends!
I have a new custom logo design that I am so excited to share with you today. Kirsten from Sweet Tea & Saving Grace contacted me recently about a logo design for her new e-Magazine. She wanted a front porch swing with a feminine feel. We set up a secret Pinterest board and I had her pick photos of things that caught her eye. I love using Pinterest to collect photos and ideas from clients. It helps me create a mood board that I can use while creating their design. Kirsten was great to work with during the client homework process! She had a clear vision on what she wanted and her pins really helped me nail down the style she was after.
After a few days I came up with this mood board.
She didn’t have a certain color palette in mind. She did mention greens and blues so I selected a few of those colors. Even though I didn’t use all of these colors for the final logo, it helps narrow down color choices! I came up with a few different choices for her logo design.
Then, she had the tough decision to choose what style to go with! I really loved the hydrangeas that kept popping up in the pictures we pinned on Pinterest. So I decided to take out my watercolors and paint some hydrangeas. I love how they turned out!!
Kirsten decided to use two logos! They compliment each other very well. Here is what she picked!
It was so fun working with Kirsten! I just love her southern style and it was such a easy logo design for me! If you want to check out her new e-Magazine you can read all about it here: From the Front Porch e-Magazine.

YAY! I absolutely LOVE my logos! You are fabulous and crazy talented. The hydrangeas are perfect – the logo wouldn’t be the same without them. Thank you so, so much for your amazing work Tori!! I will absolutely be working with you again!
Thanks Kirsten!! It’s been great working with you <3!
When I first saw the reveal in Kirsten’s newsletter, I knew right away, it had to be a Tori Grand Designs original. Such a fab collaboration between two of my faves. I love the hydrangea and the soothing color palette. Well done, girlie!
