I’ve been working on hand lettering and thought it would be a fun touch to incorporate that into my Thanksgiving decorations this year. So I created two sets of kraft place cards that I am sharing with you today! You can use them to label your Thanksgiving menu or for place cards around  the table.

I have a couple of different styles. One with just a wreath and other that has some floral leaves and flowers around it. All you need to do is print out the cards and cut them out.

I start by quickly writing an item. Here I sketched out pecan pie.

I then go over my pencil sketch with a black brush marker. I pay attention to pressing down hard when writing the down strokes and pressing lightly on the upstrokes of my letters. I also fill some of the down strokes in if I feel they are not thick enough.

I use the handle of my scissors to give the menu card a nice neat crease. That’s it! Place cards are done!
