I’m so excited to share this with you today. For the past few months I have been creating a planner for my blog.  I have a regular planner that I have been using but I wanted something a little more and something tailored to blogging. I have tried scheduling out things digitally but I am a pen and paper type of gal. If I write in my planner, I see it and I remember it. So I sat down and made this little beauty.


I wanted something that was big and that I could scribble all of my thoughts and ideas on. So the size really mattered. I love the A5 size planners for my personal life ( I can stick those puppies in my purse) but not for blogging.  I brainstorm and doodle a lot. I wanted space to do that in. So this is a regular 8.5 x 11 sized planner.


I created a nice roomy calendar to write in my blog posts. I will use the monthly section as my command center. This will list out any deadlines or blog post that I have planned.


Each day of the week has it’s own space to jot down whatever you need. I also have a daily reminder for social shares (I always need a reminder!).


The other side of the planner has a space for ideas, a ‘to do’ section and a place to write in any deadlines.  I also added  “the week ahead” section to write down any important commitments you might have for next week.  I also came up with a small before/after post checklist. I’m a visual person and having this checklist reminder helps me a ton when going through all my blog post checks. Yes, even something as silly as ‘respond to comments’ can get lost in the shuffle, so it’s nice to have the constant reminder there.


At the end of the month, I have a review section. I kept it very simple. I get overwhelmed when there is too much to fill out. I just wanted a space to quickly jot down my blog numbers (social and google analytics) and quick area to keep a tally on finances. That way I can look back and see how I did that month. It’s all in one place and no extra papers floating about!


I have also included a big ol’ note page with a fun quote every month to keep the motivation.


At the end of the year,  I have a fun top 10 section and a table that goes through numbers so that you can look back and see how you grew over the year.

I also have a contact section, a password keeper, and a giveaway section to keep you all organized.


This little planner has been my baby the last few months. I painted all the watercolor flowers, created all the tables, came up with the design…it was hours of designing. I can’t tell you how awesome it was to hold it in my hands for the first time. It was so worth it!! I couldn’t believe how pretty it was!
